State of The UnionExhibition Dates: February 1-22, 2019 Location: Pool Art Center Gallery, Drury University, Springfield, MO Every year, the President of the United States delivers the administration’s view of the nation and plans for legislation to Congress in the State of the Union Address. In the same way, this timely exhibition asked artists to present their views of the nation through art. Visitors to the gallery will witness work from a variety of artists addressing the current political atmosphere, the environment, equality, and more.This exhibition was juried by Jonathan Thomas, a Drury alumnus and manager of National and International Advancement at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

When transformed into art, “fear” can be something personal and thought-provoking, or it can be laughable and fun!
